Baxter Billiards are built to pass the test of time. They are all made of indigenous North American hardwoods with interlocking four-beam infrastructures. The tables come complete with three piece, 1" thick, wood backed slate, framed for support and so that the felt can be properly attached to the table. The finishes are all hand-rubbed, catalyzed (baked-on), finishes in rich colors. Our matching pockets are made of high quality leather with the option for leather shield or fringe. Metal bracketing ensures the table is square upon installation and makes for a very secure, tight fitting cabinet, decreasing the expansion and contraction of inferior wood brackets.
C.L. Bailey and Fischer pool tables are built to heirloom quality standards. They are all made of indigenous hardwoods such as maple, ash, rosewood, oak and mahoghany, with interlocking four-beam infrastructures. Guild Billiard tables are built like tanks. They are made of indigenous North American hardwoods with interlocking four-beam infrastructures. The tables come complete with three piece, 1"- 1 1/4" thick, wood backed slate, framed for support and so that the felt can be properly attached to the table. The frames are held together by bracketing that could withstand thousands of punds of pressure and the framing itself is so thick at 2 3/8" that the table weight is double a normal table. This makes sure the table settles as one unit making leveling a breeze for the installer and keeping maintenance costs down to a minimum. Metal bracketing also ensures the table is square upon installation and makes for a very secure, tight fitting cabinet, decreasing the expansion and contraction of inferior wood brackets.
